LENI gets a trim.

TIME.
Man, it flies.
Also, I seem to be saying "Man," a lot.  Notice it when you see me next.  Not sure where it came from!

Anyway, our Lennan was getting a little shaggy recently.  When we went swimming last week I was finding her little bangs were getting in her eyes!  And there was a general unevenness to it in general.

SO:

She got a little off the top!

And sat in a wicked yellow hummer, by the way.

For the most part she sat very well!

Until the very end...sad face!

Feeling a little lighter, Lennan quickly got over the trauma:

They gave her a little whale spout with a clip.  Cute!

Now you can see those big sad eyes.
Back to playing and happiness!
Those are the only photos I took of our adventures this week.  BUT: this weekend we went up to Huntsville!  So beautiful and SO buggy.  Thank goodness for schmancy all-natural baby bug repellent! IT WORKS!

We visited with Mommy's cousin Brandon with his wife Janis and daughter Leah.  She took a little while to warm up but by the end she and Lennan were besties:

First came the staring.  Notice she is at the FARTHEST edge of the couch!

Then Leah asked for the baby on her lap...but still isn't too sure.  Leni's cool with it - once she got used to Brandon's facial hair, of course!
Then the play time together on the floor.
"I'm not allowed to rip magazines."
Yay!
Besties.
She is so cute!
Second cousins hanging out.
Fun visit!
Lennan also got to play with my friend Paula's kids: 8-year old Nick and 6-year old triplets Kira, Brenna and Ethan:
Brenna and Kira were all about playing with Leni.

So photogenic!  Look over here, Len!
They tired Lennan out so much she was asleep within 30 seconds of leaving.  Thanks guys!

Then Lennan, Daddy and Mommy had an adventure at Harp Lake:

LENNAN'S FIRST CANOE TRIP:

NOT A FAN.  Hey can you get me outa this?

No?  How about YOU then?
Mommy is pretty excited!

Beautiful and calm day on the water.

Made it home safely!

Lennan was standing and staring the whole time.

Yay canoeing!
Daddy did a great job of parking us at the dock.
And here are some photos of Lennan with some of her favourite people.  A few of these are shots from the Grandparents' last visit to Burlington but most are from last weekend:
Fun playing with Grampa!
Screeeeeech!
Cuddles with Grandma!
Daddy head deck drum.

Cuteness.
Standing was still new for her here.  Now she's a pro.
Not a people, but Leo and Lennan have a special connection.

Floor playing!

Blueberries are my FAVOURITE!!!!!!

Check ya later!  Thanks for a wonderful visit, Northern Peeps!!!!!
