Busy busy busy

What a week!  Fun though.  Not feeling very eloquent tonight but we'll see what kind of narrative ensues from this collection of pics taken this week.

First of all, here is a before (well, after we took off the old counter...) and after of our finished kitchen.

Yep, The G-parents from the North came for a visit this week and we had some fun times:

On Thursday we got together with some long lost friends from out west, Em and Tim, as well as Polly and Jevon!!!!!!!!

We also kept up the socializing with a dinner out with some good friends back in Burlington:

Hadn't seen Lauren forever!  Beautiful little Em hamming it up as usual.

Hijinx with the kidlets.  They did a great job at the restaurant!  

Then there was some hanging out in the comfort of home, eating shoes and other things:

And today is was SO FLIPPING HOT so we went to hang out at Mar and Steve's pool!!!!!!!!!!  Lennan tried out her new FROG FLOATY and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!  Leni was a happy little water baby the whole time.  What a good girl!!!!

So this week was the first week that Lennan has 'formally' communicated with us!  She has given me the sign for "food" very clearly, she has given kisses to us on request, and she has waved to Mommy from the other side of the pool!  She's a genius, I tell you!
